People of THE SPRINGS
If you've lived in Florida long enough, you know that the springs are an absolute mess during summer. On the surface, it's loud and obnoxious. The air reverberates with the sound of Bluetooth speakers competing with one another. Children thrash about while pool tubes become a comedic version of aquatic bumper cars. But underneath the water line, everything slows down. It's quiet. The sounds from above become muffled, and the human body, moving at half-speed, becomes contorted while suspended in mid-stroke.
